Billionaire Philosophy

For too long, the world’s playboys, fortune-makers and empire-builders have been forgotten. It’s time, once again, for these icons of male power to rise up and take their rightful place at the centre of the clothing scene. Billionaire presents an extravagant and rich wardrobe for middle-aged men who are not afraid to express who they are and who they want to be.

High quality products – Made in Italy

As times change, Italian craftsmen preserve their perpetual and rich heritage of knowledge, keeping faith with tradition and attention to detail while interpreting new ideas and products. For Billionaire, this heritage is an essential resource, the basis of unconventional and highly contemporary luxury. A luxury that allows the wearer to follow his or her own style, like a true leader. For those who allow themselves the pleasures of life and demand the best…always.

Attention to detail

Dominant, virile and blameless, the billionaire man doesn’t want a boring suit – he doesn’t want to look like his Swiss accountant. He is proud of what he has accomplished and he wants to show it. From the crocodile trench coat to the metallic jacquard jacket, his clothes are a celebration of success and demand attention. Just like the men who wear them, Billionaire pieces are the ultimate expression of cocksure style.

Philipp Plein the designer behind Billionaire

A dedication to the extraordinary, a devotion to beauty and a passion for rock and roll are the hallmarks of Philipp, renowned for creating brands with unbridled luxury and trendy style.

His great interest in art, architecture and foreign cultures was forged at an early age through the many trips he made with his family, which allowed him to discover the world’s greatest museums and cultural exhibitions as a child. In 1998, he entered the world of design by producing exclusive steel and leather furniture, first for his family and friends, which quickly became a full-time professional activity, demanding enough for Plein to drop out of law school. His involvement in leather craftsmanship led him to experiment with leather clothing and accessories, and finally to launch his own fashion brand in 2004: Philipp Plein.

While the young designer continues to promote this original and fresh brand, Philipp Plein is committed to creating a world-class production network, thus guaranteeing the unequalled level of luxury demanded by his demanding clientele. The market has applauded this insightful collection that combines a youthful, rock and roll style with impeccable quality.

His credo

Philipp Plein lives by his credo of breaking rules and barriers, doing the unexpected and shaking people out of their complacency, without ever ignoring the main goal of having fun and enjoying life. According to the late Franca Sozzani, iconic editor of Vogue Italia, “Philipp Plein is unique because he has a joy of life. He doesn’t want to be a Fashionista, he makes fashion because he loves women. This is a specific, special attitude because he is one of the few”.

In 2016, the Philipp Plein Group was formed, comprising the original Philipp Plein brand, Billionaire Couture, in which a majority stake was acquired in May, and the new sportswear line: Plein Sport, which started in September.
